Raised in Tokyo, Japan, and later spending the majority of his life in the Maryland–Washington, D.C. area, he developed a balanced outlook shaped by both discipline and adaptability.

"I've been in Sales since I was 17 years old — from cold calling and door-to-door outreach to managing Shopify-based product sales. But there was always one problem: outreach. Whether it was within the company or client interactions, there was always a bottleneck in successfully securing leads or communicating updates that could take up to an entire day when information should be provided instantly."

Across teams and client interactions, he consistently encountered delays in securing leads, relaying updates, and making timely decisions. Critical information often took hours — and at times an entire day — to circulate when it should have been delivered instantly.
